WORLD Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) Group Managing Director Datuk Sri Dr Irmohizam Ibrahim has been conferred the distinguished title of Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) by CMI United Kingdom.

The conferment was presented by Ann Francke, CEO of CMI UK, during the AeU–CMI Fellowship Awards Ceremony held on 15 October 2025 at WTCKL.

This prestigious recognition stems from a strategic collaboration between Asia e University (AeU) and CMI UK aimed at elevating global leadership and professional excellence through the awarding of FCMI titles to prominent figures in the region.

The FCMI title represents the highest membership grade within the CMI, reserved for individuals with extensive leadership experience and a consistent record of delivering strategic impact, innovation and governance excellence.

In his role at the helm of WTCKL and also as a Board Director of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), Irmohizam has led the centre’s strategic transformation and digitalisation efforts while establishing himself as a key voice in the regional and international business events industry.

He is also a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) graduate from AeU.

“With this Fellowship, I hope to further contribute to the development of ethical, innovative and competitive leadership on a global scale—not only within my organisation but across both public and private sectors in today’s increasingly complex world,” he said.

He also expressed his commitment to using this platform to mentor emerging leaders, promote professional excellence, and strengthen international collaboration in management and governance.

“This honour is not only a personal milestone but a call to action. I aim to advocate leadership that is grounded in values, and to support the next generation of Malaysian leaders to thrive globally.”

WTCKL’s management congratulated Dato’ Sri Dr Irmohizam on his achievement, describing it as a testament to his credibility and proven leadership in driving the organisation towards continued excellence.
