AMANAH Saham Malaysia 3 (ASM 3) has declared a 5.00 sen per unit income distribution for the financial year ended Sept 30, 2026, its highest payout in seven years, with a total distribution of RM1.01 billion.
Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) said the distribution would benefit 818,137 unit holders with total holdings of 20.97 billion units.
The payout is higher than the 4.75 sen per unit distributed in the previous financial year.
“ASM 3 also outperformed its benchmark, the Maybank 12-month fixed deposit rate of 1.99%, by 301 basis points. As at Sept 23, 2026, the fund recorded realised net income of RM1.23 billion.

“The income distribution reflects the fund’s resilient performance in a challenging global investment environment characterised by interest rate uncertainty, geopolitical tensions and market volatility,” it said in a statement.
ASNB said the fund’s income was supported by realised gains, dividend income and asset allocation across fixed-income instruments, property and private investments in domestic and international markets.
The 5.00 sen distribution represents a 301-basis-point premium over Maybank’s 12-month fixed deposit rate of 1.99%.
For unit holders who opt for the Zakat Khultah (Class B) payment method, the distribution translates into an adjusted net dividend rate of 4.87% after a 2.57% zakat deduction.
The distribution is calculated based on the average minimum monthly balance held throughout the financial year and will be automatically reinvested as additional units in unit holders’ accounts on Oct 1.
ASM 3 transactions have been suspended from Sept 27 to 30 to facilitate the distribution calculation and will resume through the myASNB portal and app, as well as ASNB branches and agents, from Oct 1.
Meanwhile, ASNB is running its ‘Unlock ASM 3’ campaign until Dec 31, offering new investors a special allocation of up to RM10,000 through the myASNB app using the promotional code UNLOCK2.
ASNB is also continuing its 2026 Financial Planning Solution Package (FPSP), which allows investors access to allocations of up to 40% in ASM combined with selected variable-price funds. - September 28, 2026
