KUALA LUMPUR – Huawei Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd is looking forward to support the development and strengthening of the digital economy in Malaysia under the leadership and administration of newly minted Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Its chief executive officer, Michael Yuan, said over the past 20 years, Huawei has had the honour of walking alongside the country in its digital transformation journey.

“Throughout this time, we have seen tremendous and incredible growth, thanks to the outstanding talent and excellent digital leadership in the country.

“As such, Huawei stands ever ready and willing, as a global technology leader, to continue to be a valuable contributor to the digital advancement in Malaysia through our technological expertise and resources, and to solidify position of the nation as the Asean Digital Hub.”

In congratulating Ismail Sabri who was sworn in as the 9th prime minister of Malaysia recently, Yuan said: “We wish the prime minister good health and great success, as well as peace, stability, progress and prosperity for the people of Malaysia under his stewardship.”
