KUALA LUMPUR – Affin Bank Bhd (Affin Bank) has introduced its new financial and wealth planning segment, Affin Avance, customised with unique benefits for the mass affluent segment of tech-savvy, on-the-go professionals.

Avance is derived from the French word ‘Avance’ which means Advance.

In a statement, it said existing and new customers could apply for Affin Avance by meeting one of its three criteria of either earning a minimum monthly salary of RM7,000; minimum Assets Under Management (AUM) with the bank of RM50,000; or through membership of a professional body.

Among the benefits of the new product include Affin Avance Credit card/Credit card-i with a lifetime annual fee waiver, triple Affin reward points on dining and one-time Affin rewards for other retail spend, triple Affin reward points on professional bodies (transactions) and up to a maximum of 24 months on Easy Instalment Plan at zero per cent interest for a minimum purchase of RM3,000 in a single receipt.

It also provides own Interest-bearing Account (Affin Avance Savvy / Savvy-i) packaged together with the bank’s Visa debit card/debit card-i, in which customers could benefit from unique interest/profit rate of up to 1.25% per annum, subject to the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) change.

Customers would also get personalised and privileged services such as Dedicated Personal Financial Consultant to provide financial consultation, market updates and product offerings, as well as preferential interest/profit rates on products, including overdraft facility, mortgage, hire purchase, and unit trust to meet customers’ financial needs and retirement planning.

"With a recognisable number of them being more aware of the importance of financial planning and retirement, it is timely to introduce Affin Avance to this segment of consumers to provide them with benefits to meet their financial needs and to make retirement easier to achieve with ease of mind," said president & group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah Wan Ali.
