KUALA LUMPUR – Bank Rakyat chief executive Datuk Rosman Mohamed will end his service with the financial institution on January 31 next year.
The bank, in a statement, said Rosman, who starts his leave today, also relinquishes all positions he holds, including as board member of Rakyat Management Services Sdn Bhd, Rakyat Holdings Sdn Bhd and Yayasan Bank Rakyat.
“His wish has been conveyed to the bank’s board of directors, and the Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry.”
The bank announced the appointment of Datuk Syed Abdul Aziz Syed Hassan, who is deputy CEO of operations, as acting chief executive effective today.
A plan is in place to fill the top post, and will be announced soon.
Rosman started working with the bank as a board member on April 1 last year. He was made acting managing director on August 1 the same year, and appointed CEO on February 1. – Bernama, November 14, 2020
