Rural Development Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said work on the project in Kampung Kubang Palas is scheduled to start at the end of the year and will be completed in October next year.

“When completed, the project will be able to provide job opportunities for local residents and boost our agro-food industry,” he told reporters when visiting the project site, covering 10ha, here today.

Also present were Felcra director Datuk Seri Ghazali Ibrahim and Felcra chief executive officer Datuk Mat Roni Zakaria.
