KUALA LUMPUR – The Finance Ministry has appointed Datuk Seri Jaseni Maidinsa as Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd (PAAB) chairman effective April 4.

He brings with him experience in the corporate world and water industry, having previously held the position of chief executive officer of PBA Holdings Bhd (PBAHB) and Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd (PBAPP).

He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (1979), a BSc. (Hons.) Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Glasgow (1984), a Diploma in Management from the Malaysian Institute of Management (1991) and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Sains Malaysia (2001).

He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), a Member of the Malaysian Water Association (MWA) and The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).

PAAB is a wholly owned company of Minister of Finance Incorporated, established on May 5, 2006 as part of the federal government’s efforts to restructure the water services industry in the country to achieve better efficiency and quality, as well as to ensure the sustainability of the industry. – The Vibes, April 5, 2023
