KUALA LUMPUR – Get into the spirit of holiday hijinks and adventure today with the premiere of the first two episodes of Marvel Studios’ 'Hawkeye', exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
Action and comedy abound in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) fifth original series to launch on the platform. Jeremy Renner reprises his iconic role as Clint Barton alongside Hailee Steinfeld who joins the MCU as Kate Bishop, a skilled archer and Hawkeye’s biggest admirer.
This six-episode series takes place in post-Blip New York City as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family in time for Christmas.
A threat from his past shows up and Hawkeye finds himself reluctantly teaming up with 22-year-old Kate Bishop to unravel a criminal conspiracy.
The series also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez.
'Hawkeye' is helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie. It is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Trinh Tran, Brad Winderbaum, Rhys Thomas and Jonathan Igla.
