SPOTIFY has released the official Coronation Celebration playlist ahead of the occasion which is due to take place on May 6. The playlist includes a mix of legendary British artists and contemporary superstars.

The Beatles, Queen, Sir Tom Jones, David Bowie, The Kinks, The Who, Sir Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck, Electric Light Orchestra, Take That, Spice Girls, Grace Jones, and Kate Bush are just a few of the iconic artists featured on the playlist.

The 27-song playlist was selected on the monarch’s behalf by the UK’s Department for Digital, Culture Media and Sport. The Rolling Stones, Britain’s biggest living band, were noticeably absent.

In addition to the legacy artists, the playlist also includes an eclectic mix of contemporary stars such as Harry Styles, Coldplay, George Ezra, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Sam Ryder, and Michael Bublé.

The playlist even includes a couple of humorous inclusions of Boney M's ‘Daddy Cool’ and Years & Years’ ‘King’.
