UOB Malaysia has launched the 13th UOB Painting of the Year (POY) (Malaysia) competition, inviting artists to uncover their passion for art and showcase their ingenuity.

The UOB POY competition is the bank’s flagship regional visual arts programme and one of Southeast Asia’s most prestigious annual art competitions that aims to uncover and nurture artistic talent across the region. This year, the art competition has expanded to Vietnam, enabling many more to uncover their passion for art.

Ng Wei Wei, Chief Executive Officer, UOB Malaysia said, “At UOB Malaysia, we believe that art plays a catalytic role in society in raising social change, creating a bigger conversation and uniting people of different cultures and backgrounds."
