KUALA LUMPUR – Education Minister Datuk Radzi Jidin has announced that the third schooling term for the 2021/2022 session will commence from January 2 and January 3, respectively, nationwide.

In a brief statement today, he said schools located in states under Group A (Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu) will have their term from January 2 to March 20, while schools in states under Group B (Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan and Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya) will hold their term from January 3 until March 20. 

The academic calendar for the 2022/2023 term will last from March 21 next year until March 11, 2023 for schools under Group A, and from March 21, 2022 until March 12, 2023 for schools under Group B.

Radzi stated that the schedule for next year’s schooling term as well as the academic calendar for the 2022/2023 term are available on the Ministry of Education’s website from today onwards. – The Vibes, November 15, 2021
