THE St Xavier's Institution Old Boys' Association bade farewell to the school headmaster, Goh Hong Peng, who recently retired.

It said Goh’s four-year stint was marked by strong leadership and his assistance to the SXI board of governors in organising the 170th anniversary of the La Salle Brothers' school last year.

The event included a exhibition on the history of the school.

Goh is succeeded by S. Thirumamani.

Among those who paid tribute to Goh was ex-disciplinarian teacher Constantine Gerard Anthony, himself an alumnus boy of SXI. Anthony praised Goh for standing firm with his teachers, students, and parents. – August 20, 2024.
