VOGUE SINGAPORE is celebrating its third anniversary this year with a landmark event titled Next in Vogue, presented in collaboration with Edition Hotels at their first luxury lifestyle property in Southeast Asia. The event on November 17 and 18 aims to drive conversations about the future of fashion, impact of innovation and influence of culture.
Since its inception in 2020, Vogue Singapore has emerged as a trailblazing, forward-thinking platform dedicated to empowering and inspiring readers through intelligent storytelling and thought-provoking content, while striving to drive positive change. Year on year, it has consistently bridged the gap between fashion and technology, introducing groundbreaking features both on print and digital platforms.
These include Vogue’s first NFT issue and collection, styling videos using AR technology, NFC Continuity Chip embedments to unlock exclusive content, pioneering use of AI for cover models, and a commitment to championing fashion in the metaverse with an exclusive space on Spatial.io.
Guided by this ethos, Vogue Singapore is bringing its community of readers together for the first time at Next in Vogue. The two-day event will witness thought leaders, brands, retailers and creatives convening for a series of panel discussions along with designer showcases, fringe events and masterclasses.
Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, Next in Vogue features four key activations:
The first is Next in Vogue Conversations which features eleven panel discussions over two days. It assembles global and regional thought leaders to engage in insightful discussions on the profound impact of innovation and culture on the fashion industry. Day one will delve into the future of fashion and impact of innovation and covers topics such as New Ways Forward: How Emerging Technologies Influence the Fashion Landscape, while day two focuses on the generational shift in the fashion and creative industry, featuring panels such as The Next Fashion Revolution—Creative Jobs for Fashion's New World.
The second is Vogue Closet, an immersive playground of fashion, beauty and technology featuring a curation of digital and physical fashion selected by the editors of Vogue Singapore. These will be accompanied by the debut showcase of two Asian designers, Bad Binch Tong Tong and Miss Sohee, who are known for their bold and imaginative work, which will be made available in Singapore for the first time.
Thirdly, Vogue Glam Room is a lounge designed for beauty enthusiasts and make-up aficionados to discover the latest trends in beauty. It offers masterclasses, intimate panel talks, and an interactive display of beauty tech brands.
Lastly, there will be a series of pop-up fringe activities providing engaging encounters and networking opportunities for the Vogue community throughout the two-day event.
