ENTERPRISE software provider HashMicro has unveiled HashMicro X, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven manufacturing solution aimed at helping businesses improve production efficiency, automate operations and respond faster to disruptions.
The company said the platform was developed in response to growing challenges faced by manufacturers, including rising operational costs, supply chain uncertainty, labour shortages and increasing customer expectations.
HashMicro said traditional manufacturing software has largely focused on digitising processes, centralising data and generating reports, but still requires human intervention to analyse information and decide on the next course of action.
HashMicro X, however, is designed to move beyond data management by using AI to provide recommendations and automate operational decisions, allowing manufacturers to anticipate problems rather than simply respond to them.
The platform is integrated across key areas of manufacturing, including production planning, procurement, inventory management, maintenance and quality control.
Among its capabilities, HashMicro X can help production teams generate schedules based on machine capacity, material availability and delivery deadlines, while procurement teams can receive early alerts on potential shortages alongside recommended actions.
Quality control teams can also use AI-driven analysis to identify recurring defects, determine possible causes and reduce production waste.
“Manufacturers generate enormous amounts of operational data every day, but data alone does not improve productivity,” said Nur Fadiyah Syifa, vice-president of Strategic Communications at HashMicro.
“Businesses need AI that understands the context behind every order, machine and production line, then recommends the next best action or takes routine actions automatically.”
She said the difference lies between software that merely records operations and one that actively helps businesses run more efficiently.
HashMicro added that the AI capabilities are built into its wider enterprise software ecosystem, allowing manufacturers to adopt the technology without disrupting existing processes while maintaining security, scalability and governance standards.
The company said the platform is targeted at helping businesses improve resource utilisation, minimise disruptions and maintain smoother production workflows as the manufacturing sector navigates an increasingly complex operating environment.
