PROPERTY developer Plenitude Berhad has launched Mandolin Residences, a freehold serviced apartment development comprising 712 units in Taman Desa Tebrau, as demand continues for high-rise housing options within established urban townships.
The project, located within the 965-acre Taman Desa Tebrau township, consists of two residential towers offering studio, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, including dual-key layouts. Unit sizes range from 528 sq ft to 1,017 sq ft, with prices starting from RM326,400.
The development is situated near major commercial, education and healthcare facilities in the Tebrau area, including AEON Tebrau City, IKEA Tebrau, Toppen Shopping Centre, Hospital Sultan Ismail, Sunway College JB and several international schools.
Tebrau has emerged as one of Johor Bahru’s key residential and commercial corridors, supported by established amenities and access routes connecting the area to other parts of the city.
Mandolin Residences is accessible via major roads, including the Pasir Gudang Highway, Eastern Dispersal Link (EDL) and the PLUS Expressway. Future transport upgrades along the Tebrau corridor, including the proposed electric Autonomous Rapid Transit (e-ART) system, are also expected to improve connectivity in the area.
The development includes a one-acre facilities podium featuring more than 30 shared amenities across four areas — active, aquatic, relaxation and social spaces.
Among the facilities provided are swimming pools, a gymnasium, a multipurpose hall, children’s play areas, childcare facilities and communal spaces. Each tower will also have a Sky Garden on Level 30, offering residents shared recreational areas overlooking the surrounding landscape.
The project also incorporates smart access controls and security features across residential and common areas, alongside sustainability elements such as rainwater harvesting systems, energy-efficient lighting, passive design features and infrastructure readiness for electric vehicle charging.
Plenitude chief executive officer Anthony Ng said the development was planned to cater to changing preferences among urban households seeking homes within established communities.
“Mandolin Residences brings together location, thoughtfully planned homes, lifestyle facilities, smart security and everyday convenience to support modern family living,” he said.
Mandolin Residences marks Plenitude’s latest addition to Taman Desa Tebrau, where the group has developed residential and commercial projects over the years.
The company said the project forms part of its continued efforts to expand housing options within mature townships as Johor Bahru continues to see growth driven by urbanisation and economic activity. - July 16, 2026
