SHAH ALAM – Leading Australian manufacturer of household do-it-yourself products Selleys hosted its first post-pandemic workshop recently. #Daretorepair aims to empower Malaysians to be more involved in opting for cost-effective quick fixes at home.

Why call for help when you can fix it yourself?

The workshop held at the multi-purpose hall at Nippon Paint headquarters in Taman Perindustrian Subang Utama here saw many DIY enthusiasts of all age groups. Even parents with young kids were seen enjoying the session.

Participants had the opportunity to make full use of the five popular products featured – RP7, No More Gaps, Knead It, Supa Glue and Liquid Nails.

The initiative is also seen as complementary to the current trend of many households having to upskill themselves in repair works. More so with the amount of time spent home during lockdown.

Nippon Paint Malaysia (Group Trade User Business) general manager Chen Lee Sion said the cost of repairing or even decorating home interiors has increased over the past years, “which increases demand and interest for DIY home improvement products.”

“The easy-to-use products Selleys allow homeowners to mend and restore broken or malfunctioning pieces at home without stress.

“With over 80 years of being in the market, the brand truly dedicates itself to offering high-quality, innovative products that meet consumers’ needs for easy fixes done at home,” he added. – The Vibes, July 27, 2022
