JEREMY Clarkson has been awarded the title of “UK's sexiest hunk” by IllicitEncounters, an online dating site for married people.
The 62-year-old broadcaster was a surprise winner in the poll, which included a list of 50 famous men.
Other unlikely choices on the shortlist included former prime minister Boris Johnson, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Zelenksy, financial expert Martin Lewis, and Pimlico Plumber founder Charlie Mullins.
According to them, Clarkson scored 8 out of 10 points, beating Match of the Day host Gary Lineker (7.5) to the top spot.
His surprising triumph comes after he was axed earlier this week by ITV as host of the quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, following the controversial remarks he made about the Duchess of Sussex in a newspaper column.
The categories of Celebrity, Politics, Sport, and Public Figures were used to help viewers make their ratings before the top 10 was decided. Gary Lineker, Mike Tindall, Ryan Reynolds, Dermot O'Leary, and Idris Elba also made the list.
Zelensky helped round out the top 10 along with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
Commenting on Clarkson's win, an IllicitEncounters spokeswoman said, "With the wax jacket and tweed shirt, clearly, Clarkson's bad boy farm vibe is working for the over-30s. Landing top spot in our table won't earn him diddly squat, but I'm sure it will give him bragging rights on the farm."
Clarkson, who recently denied rumors that he had been axed as the presenter of an ITV quiz show, took to Instagram to show off his new business venture – a herd of goats that have taken up residence in his Cotswold farm's once-lambing barn.
