WE often go through days when we are just too tired to even put on our shoes.

It is a given that shoes need to look good and be comfortable; yet, most shoes are a chore to put on.

Hence, we tend to love slippers, flip-flops and other kinds of footwear that do not provide us with safety and can look downright unsightly.

Enter Skechers’ latest offering that allows you to walk on clouds and run on air with Skechers, the “Comfort Technology Company” and a global leader in lifestyle, as they launch a new hands-free slip-ins collection.

Aiming to provide modern-day individuals with convenience and support, the upgraded new collection includes a wide range of new designs from GO Walk 6 and Ultra Flex3.0 for walking.

The slip-in heel technology on the shoes means it can be effortlessly slipped on and off in a matter of seconds, saving valuable time for busy professionals, parents, and individuals on the go.

As a person who loves shoes – I have about 50 pairs – I look for shoes that are both stylish and comfortable to wear for long periods.

I work between 10 and 12 hours daily, easily walking about 10 to 12 thousand steps.

Having comfortable shoes is a must, and having a stylish-looking design means I can wear it anywhere, from the office right to events in the evening.

The collection offers a host of features that make them a must-have addition to any daily routine.

From GO Walk 6’s Air-Cooled Goga Mat insole, Hyper Pillars® for added support, to Ultra Flex 3.0’s Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insole and Stretch Fit Knit sock-like upper that provides comfort with every step you take.

All this is just gibberish to most of us, but these shoes do come with some technology.

But how does it really feel?

Honestly, these shoes have quickly become one of my favourites.

I use them at work, when I go for walks, in the gym and even for tennis.

They are easy to put on and are extremely snug.

I make it a point to be lazier than usual and slip the shoes on every time. This means that in the month that I’ve been using them, I’ve only tied the laces once. Just once!

I’m just as surprised as you are – that just slipping into the shoes allows me to do a myriad of activities without retying the laces to make them tighter.

Sure, it has saved me mere seconds each time, but it hasn’t disadvantaged me while I’m using them. And that, for me, is amazing.

For those of you who are more ESG compliant than me, Skechers claim that these shoes are crafted with fully vegan materials.

The breathable upper mesh and internal and external hotmelts also provide great support for the feet while running.

The Air-Cooled Memory Foam® comfort insole in Skechers Max Cushioning Elite provides the feet high-rebound cushioning, which is less stressful for the legs when jogging and for long walks.

An added benefit now is the fact that when the shoes get dirty, all one needs to do is take them off and toss them in the washing machine.

Yep, the Skechers Slip-ins look good, are very comfortable and machine washable.

Head to www.skechers.com.my to find out the various models of the slip-ins they offer – you may find one you fancy most.
