Woman who fell into Mount Korbu ravine rescued

A WOMAN who was injured after falling into a 10-metre-deep ravine while descending Mount Korbu in Perak was rescued this morning.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department operations assistant director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad.said the 35-year-old victim was extricated around 1.30am.

He said she was sent to the hospital for medical treatment.

On Monday, the Tambun Fire and Rescue Station launched a search for the woman.

She was among 34 participants of a hiking expedition, which set off on July 6, to climb Mount Korbu and Mount Gayong. – July 9, 2024.
