The body has been sent to Tanjong Karang Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.

Police: No signs of foul play in death of missing woman
Previously, a missing person’s report was lodged at 12.36am on Jan 31 Jan following her disappearance on 29 Jan. - February 4, 2025

POLICE said there no signs of foul play found during preliminary investigations into the death of 34-year-old Yong Jia Yein.

Kuala Selangor OCPD Azaharudin Tajudin, in a statement said the body was found inside a grey car parked in a parking lot in Pantai Remis, Jeram.

"Police were notified of the discovery at 2am on Tuesday after a patrol car was in the area.

"When police arrived, we found all doors of the vehicle locked and called the Fire and Rescue Department to assist in removing the body from the car.

"Preliminary investigations show no physical injuries or signs of foul play," he said.

The body has been sent to Tanjong Karang Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.

Previously, a missing person’s report was lodged at 12.36am on Jan 31 Jan following her disappearance on 29 Jan.

Yong was last seen leaving her home at the Pelangi Utama Condominium.

She was driving a blue Proton Iswara with the registration number BDV 1304. - February 4, 2025
