“I extend my highest congratulations on the occasion of the official birthday celebration.” Anwar says

PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has conveyed his heartfelt congratulations in conjunction with the official birthday of the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim, today.

He also prayed for the King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim and the entire royal family to always be blessed with Allah's mercy and guidance, as well as to remain in good health, prosperity and sovereignty, Bernama cited him saying this morning.

“With utmost respect to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the Sovereign Ruler of the State and Territories of Johor Darul Ta’zim, the King. I extend my highest congratulations on the occasion of the official birthday celebration on March 23.

‘May Allah preserve the Sultan,’” he said in a Facebook post today.

On the same note, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi offered his heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the official birthday of Sultan Ibrahim of Johor, marking the significant day with warm wishes and prayers for the Sultan’s continued reign.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Dr Ahmad Zahid expressed his deep respect and admiration for Sultan Ibrahim, who also serves as Malaysia’s Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

The Deputy Prime Minister, alongside his family, extended their prayers for the Sultan's wellbeing as he continues to lead with strength and dignity.

Meanwhile, Minister of Communications, Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, representing the Ministry’s entire workforce, also conveyed his birthday wishes to Sultan Ibrahim.

In his Facebook post, Fahmi expressed his hope for Sultan Ibrahim, the Raja Permaisuri Agong, and the entire royal family, praying that they continue to receive blessings, guidance, and good health.

He also wished for their reign to remain strong and steadfast, ensuring that the royal family remains an enduring symbol of the nation's sovereignty.

The well-wishes come as part of national celebrations marking the significant occasion, reinforcing the respect and reverence shown by Malaysian leaders towards the royal family. - March 23, 2025
