A 34-YEAR-OLD local man has died following a stabbing during a violent altercation in Sentosa, Klang Selatan, late last night, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Selangor Chief of Police Datuk Shazeli Kahar confirmed that authorities were alerted to the scene at 11.10pm.

“Investigations have found that the incident involved a local male victim who was stabbed, resulting in his death,” he said in a statement today.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code, with the motive for the attack remaining under inquiry.

Shazeli urged members of the public who witnessed the confrontation or possess information to come forward and assist the investigation.
