THE press conference by Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, which was supposed to be held at the Wisma Negeri at 1.30 pm today, was cancelled after he was said to have other official business.

The Menteri Besar's Press Secretary, Ahmad Shahir Mohd Shah, informed the media who were waiting at Wisma Negeri.

"The Menteri Besar's press conference scheduled for 1.30 pm has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons.

"YAB Menteri Besar has important business," he said.

He informed that Aminuddin had finished chairing the exco meeting, which started at 11 am this morning and ended around 12.30 pm.

Earlier, Aminuddin, who is also the Pakatan Harapan (PH) Negeri Sembilan chairman, had an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, at Istana Hinggap, for more than an hour this morning.

Although it is routine for the Menteri Besar to meet Tuanku Muhriz, today's meeting drew the attention of media practitioners following rumours that the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) would be dissolved in the near future.

The rumours grew stronger when Aminuddin chaired the Negeri Sembilan PH Leadership Council Meeting at his official residence, yesterday morning. – June 3, 2026
