THE teenage girl injured in a stabbing incident at a secondary school in Banting was allegedly among the individuals listed as 'targets' of the suspect, according to her father.

Mohd Firuz Ibrahim, 43, confirmed that his daughter’s name appeared as the 10th entry on a list that has been circulating widely on social media.

However, he said he could not verify whether the list was genuine and would leave the matter to the police to investigate.

“Apparently, my daughter’s name is on the list at number 10,” he said briefly.

Previously, Mohd Firuz said his daughter knew the 15-year-old suspect as they had been classmates last year, but he denied that his daughter was the intended target of the sudden attack.

He said he was still unsure whether the document was written by the suspect, obtained from another party, or fabricated.

However, he confirmed that he had already provided his statement to the police.

Addressing claims that the incident was linked to bullying, Mohd Firuz said his daughter was not a bully and rarely went out without being accompanied by either her mother or father.

“Our family does not know the suspect’s family, so far, there has been no contact or meeting between us.

“However, we are open to meeting if such a proposal is made,” BH reported him saying today.

The father’s comments came as police continued investigating the stabbing case, including claims involving several documents and a list of names allegedly connected to the incident that have been shared online.

Authorities have yet to confirm the authenticity of the viral materials. - July 7, 2026
