A FEMALE actress in the police drama Gerak Khas 2.0 pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate's Court today to a charge of administering three types of drugs to herself last Tuesday.

Accused Shanorbiah Shamsir Alam, 40, or better known as Tisha Shamsir, made the plea after the charge was read out against her before Magistrate Khairunnisak Hassni.

The accused was charged with administering Methamphetamine, Amphetamine and Ketamine to herself following a urine test.

The offence was allegedly committed in the toilet of the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division Office of the Dang Wangi District Police Headquarters (IPD) at 7.30 am on July 7.

She was charged under Section 15 (1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and punishable under the same section of the same act.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurainna Maryam Norazman offered bail of RM4,000 with one surety.

However, the accused, represented by Nik Azhar Nik Adib from the National Legal Aid Foundation (YBGK), requested that the bail amount be reduced because the accused had separated from her husband and was supporting her elderly parents.

"The purpose of the bail is to ensure the presence of the accused. Previously, the accused was granted police bail, and she appeared in court in person today to face the charge. Therefore, the minimum bail amount is requested," said the lawyer.

After hearing the applications of both parties, Magistrate Khairunnisak allowed the accused to be bailed at RM1,000 and set October 8 for mention of the case.

It was earlier reported that the actress was arrested along with several other individuals in an Op Noda raid at an entertainment centre in the capital. – July 10, 2026
