PRN Johor: 26.43 percent voter turnout as of 11am

Based on Election Commission (EC) statistics, the overall voter turnout was recorded at 26.43 per cent, an increase compared to 21.33 per cent in the 15th Johor PRN in 2022 for the same period.

A TOTAL of 709,092 out of 2,682,642 registered voters in Johor had fulfilled their responsibilities as of 11 am in the 16th Johor State Election (PRN) today.

Based on Election Commission (EC) statistics, the overall voter turnout was recorded at 26.43 per cent, an increase compared to 21.33 per cent in the 15th Johor PRN in 2022 for the same period.

Meanwhile, the DUN that recorded the highest voter turnout so far is N.39 Tanjung Surat with 34.4 per cent, followed by N.25 Rengit (33.6 per cent) and N.20 Semarang (33.2 per cent).

The three areas that recorded the lowest voter turnout were N.15 Maharani with 21.9 per cent, N.12 Bentayan (19.9 per cent) and N.23 Penggaram (19.6 per cent).

Early voting on Tuesday recorded a turnout of 95 per cent, involving 19,471 voters.

The voting process began at 8 am at 1,409 polling stations throughout the state and is expected to last until 5 pm before the vote counting process begins. – July 11, 2026
