BARISAN Nasional (BN) is allegedly leading the unofficial results of the Johor State Election (PRN) by controlling 33 State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seats as of 6.27 pm.

The development was shared by Umno Secretary-General Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki via a post on Facebook.

Based on the post, Pakatan Harapan (PH) is alleged to be leading in seven seats, while Perikatan Nasional (PN), Bersama and MUDA are yet to lead in any seats.

However, the results have not yet been confirmed by the Election Commission (EC) and are subject to the body's official announcement after the vote counting process is completed at all official counting centres.

The Johor PRN on Saturday saw voters throughout the state electing elected representatives to form the state government for the new term.

The Election Commission of Malaysia (EC) announced that the early voting process for the 16th Johor State Assembly General Election (GE) will only begin at 5.00 pm. – July 11, 2026
