Pakatan Harapan will announce its full slate of candidates for the Negeri Sembilan state election on Tuesday evening - July 13, 2026

PAKATAN Harapan (PH) will unveil its candidates for the Negeri Sembilan state election on Tuesday evening, as the coalition prepares for nomination day on Saturday ahead of polling on Aug 1.

According to a post on PH's official Facebook page, the announcement will be made by PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the coalition's candidate announcement ceremony at Dataran Melang in Kuala Pilah.

The event is expected to be attended by PH deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke Siew Fook and Negeri Sembilan PH chairman Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.

The Election Commission has scheduled nomination day for Saturday, with polling to take place on Aug 1.

Aminuddin, who is also the caretaker Menteri Besar, has previously confirmed that PH will contest all 36 Negeri Sembilan state assembly seats independently without an electoral pact with Barisan Nasional (BN).

Under the seat allocation, PKR will contest 16 seats, DAP 11 and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) nine.

Meanwhile, Anthony Loke, who is also chairman of DAP Negeri Sembilan, has already confirmed several of the party's candidates and key constituencies.

Loke has repeatedly stated that he will defend the Chennah state seat, which he has held for three consecutive terms. - July 13, 2026
