Police report lodged after the teenager disclosed the alleged incidents to his mother - October 2, 2026

A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was allegedly sexually abused several times by a man known to him at a People's Housing Project (PPR) in Cheras.

Cheras deputy police chief Superintendent Lim Chun How said police received a report from the boy's mother on Sept 29 concerning the alleged incidents.

He said the suspect was a local man in his 40s.

“Police confirm receiving a report from the victim's mother regarding the alleged sexual abuse of her son.

“The case is being investigated by the Sexual, Women and Child Investigation Division (D11) of the Criminal Investigation Department at the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters,” he said in a statement today.

The victim was understood to have known the suspect and allegedly told his mother that the abuse had occurred several times.

The mother lodged the police report after her son disclosed the alleged incidents, amid concerns that they could recur.
