A MOTIVATIONAL speaker linked to alleged sexual harassment involving a minor was brought to the Kangar Court Complex on Saturday for a police remand application.

Senior Assistant Registrar Mohd Amiruldin Roslan granted the police application to remand the suspect for two days to facilitate ongoing investigations.

Earlier, the suspect, dressed in black, arrived at the court compound at 9:30am in a police vehicle under heavy security escort.

Yesterday, police issued a statement calling on the motivational speaker to present himself to assist in enquiries regarding the harassment allegations.

Perlis Police Chief Deputy Commissioner Hamzah Hashim confirmed that authorities received a formal report concerning the speaker at 2:09am on 26 September.

The case is being investigated under Section 12 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which carries a penalty of up to five years' imprisonment and caning upon conviction.

The court appearance follows shocking online disclosures by several female victims alleging sexual harassment and grooming by the married speaker.

The suspect's alleged modus operandi involved approaching victims through the TikTok application under the guise of work or educational matters, before coaxing them into becoming 'sugar babies' and checking into hotels.

Following the viral revelations, Education Minister Datuk Seri Fadhlina Sidek ordered an immediate halt to all school programmes involving the independent speaker, citing the fundamental safety and protection of students. - October 3, 2026
