KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia have offered university students to reschedule their flights for free in light of the announcement by the Higher Education Ministry

On Friday, students were told that all face-to-face registration and physical classes are on hold, given the surge in Covid-19 cases over the past few days.

In response, Malaysia Airlines made available a waiver form online.

Students will have to fill up the form and upload the necessary documents – a copy of their flight ticket, student card and a letter from their university – to qualify for the waiver.

The ministry also posted on Facebook announcing that AirAsia will be providing unlimited rescheduling of flights for students until December 31.
