SEMPORNA – Warisan’s candidate for the Bugaya state by-election, Jamil Hamzah, won comfortably with a 6,629-vote majority. 

He beat Barisan Nasional’s candidate from Umno, Abd Aziz Mohd Ibno, who garnered 4,753 votes.

Pakatan Harapan’s Arastam Pandorog garnered 562 votes, while independent candidate Jufazli Shi Ahmad got 693 votes. 

Parti Perpaduan Rakyat Sabah candidate Karil Pg Kuraini captured 150 votes, followed by Pejuang’s Mohd Hassan Abu Bakar with 130 votes, while Parti Bangsa Malaysia candidate Nazmawati Walli managed 98 votes. – The Vibes, November 20, 2022
