KOTA KINABALU – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi are still in the midst of figuring out the best solution to end the latest in a series of nearly unending political turmoil in Sabah.

Despite everything that the two are planning, the Tambun MP admitted however that the final decision still lies in the hands of the state’s political top brass.

“We could only advise them,” he said, after saying that the crisis is now improving when met by reporters after having a meeting with Sabah leaders in Magellan Sutera Harbour here, today.

The Vibes was made to understand Warisan president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat president Datuk Peter Anthony, and Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin were present at the closed-door meeting.

On the other hand, Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor who is also Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) chairman was not present at the meeting.

His assemblymen and other leaders who support him are currently at the chief minister’s official residence, Sri Gaya.

The meeting lasted for about 45 minutes and ended at about 11pm, following Anwar’s arrival in Sabah at around 10pm tonight.
