KUALA LUMPUR – K. Nagulendran today reports to the Youth and Sports Ministry as its new secretary-general.

His arrival received a warm welcome from minister Hannah Yeoh and her team as the announcement was made on the ministry’s official Facebook account.

The 53-year-old civil servant previously served as the Science, Technology, and Innovation Ministry’s deputy secretary-general of the Planning and Science Culture division.

He graduated with a PhD in Biodiversity Governance from Nottingham University and has 28 years of experience in public service as an administrative and diplomatic officer starting from January 25, 1995.

Throughout his service, he has held several positions in human resources, policy planning, and strategic technology at MoSTI.

The new appointment came after Datuk Jana Santhiran Muniayan retired from the ministry to return to the Transport Ministry as its new secretary-general. – The Vibes, February 2, 2023
