MUAR – Perikatan Nasional (PN) will continue to use the coalition’s existing logo in four states in the coming state elections as it did in the last general election.

Its chair Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the four states are Penang, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, and Kedah – and PN is still waiting for the final word from Kelantan and Terengganu.

“We have been using it (logo) until today. PAS also used the logo in Kedah. PAS hasn’t asked for it to be changed.

“It is also fine if Kelantan and Terengganu want to use the PAS logo since the people already know about PN. We are all on good terms in PN. It (the relationship) has actually improved compared with the last general election,” he said here today.

He said this at a press conference at the Pagoh parliamentary and Bukit Kepong state constituencies’ Aidilfitri event at the Pagoh Sports Complex, which was also attended by Bukit Kepong assemblyman Datuk Seri Dr Sahruddin Jamal.

Muhyiddin also said the state elections will serve as a new benchmark for the future direction of the country’s politics. – Bernama, May 20, 2023
