KUALA TERENGGANU – An election candidate is being investigated by police for allegedly trying to attract and also disturbing another man’s wife.

Terengganu police chief Datuk Mazli Mazlan said investigations were being conducted following a report from the complainant at the Kemaman district police headquarters last Friday.

He said investigations were almost completed and the investigation paper would be handed over to the state prosecution director soon.

“The complainant, suspect, and witness were called in to have their statements recorded.

“We will be handing over the investigation paper to the state prosecution director soon for further action,” he said.

Mazli said further developments on the case will be revealed once police get instructions from the state prosecution director.

He also did not touch on the relationship between the complainant and suspect as the case was still under investigation.
