MALAYSIAN Formula 1 fans will be able to watch the relocated Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit from October 2 to 4 for as little as RM200 under a special MyKad ticketing scheme.
The race, officially branded the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia, was moved to Sepang following changes to the F1 calendar earlier this season.
Despite the change of venue, the event retains its Bahrain Grand Prix branding, while ticketing continues to be administered through the Bahrain International Circuit.
Under the special Malaysian rates listed on the official Bahrain GP ticketing platform, valid MyKad holders can purchase three-day passes across several seating categories.
Hillstand G, an open grass viewing area, is the most affordable option at RM200, while Hillstands B and C are priced at RM809.60.
For covered grandstand seating, Grandstand F costs RM1,291.40, Grandstand K1 RM1,386 and the Main Grandstand RM2,083.40.
All discounted tickets are subject to MyKad verification during the purchase process. Tickets with mismatched or unverified identification may be cancelled.
Payments are processed in Bahraini dinar, with the final ringgit equivalent subject to prevailing exchange rates.
Children below three years old will be admitted free but will not be allocated a dedicated seat.
Children aged three to six are eligible for a 25 per cent discount across all ticket categories, except Hillstand G.
Strong demand from Malaysian fans also caused temporary disruption to the official online booking portal shortly after ticket sales opened.
Organisers acknowledged the technical difficulties and said technical teams were upgrading server capacity to improve the online purchasing experience.
Fans have been advised to monitor official Bahrain GP social media channels for real-time ticketing updates or contact the Bahrain GP call centre at +973 1745 0000.
International visitors will pay higher standard rates, with the Main Grandstand priced at US$565.40, equivalent to about RM2,310.45.
Grandstand K1 is priced at US$376.20, or about RM1,537.30, while Grandstand F costs US$350.90, equivalent to approximately RM1,433.92.
Hillstands B and C are priced at US$220, or about RM899.01.
The relocated race is scheduled to take place at Sepang International Circuit from October 2 to 4. - August 14, 2026
