Kickstox talks champions league

Hey The Vibes fans!

Hope you guys have made some serious percentage increases after the first day of the Champions League return. We certainly enjoyed the matches played yesterday and can’t wait for the next few matches later tonight. A new day means a new edition of the Kickstox top tips!

Our first top tip is a player we have discussed quite often this year, both in earlier articles as well as in our podcast and Youtube show. His name? Álvaro Morata.

The Juventus striker is a strange case, not really succeeding at his other clubs but always performing well with the Italian champions. The Spanish fox in the box often lives up to his name in the Champions League, proving to be a truly efficient number nine.

He will be facing FC Porto and with Juventus being the favourites, we expect a goal or at least an assist from the man who already has six goals this campaign, averaging one goal a game. At €8.431 he is an absolute bargain and we think he will exceed his expected match rating of 6.0 and continue on his impressive scoring streak in the tournament.

Secondly, we go to a Champions League relic, a man who has won it all: Ivan Rakitic.

As captain of Sevilla he will face an attacking Borussia Dortmund side in what seems to be an attractive Champions League fixture.

Barcelona got rid of the veteran earlier this season and that might have been a mistake looking at his two goals this Champions League season and an overall dominance on the Sevilla midfield, having an average passing accuracy of 90% this season. He costs a mere €9.454 and with an expected match rating of 6.1, he is definitely one to look out for in your portfolio.

Lastly, we have a player who is a typical example of, if you know where to look, you might just find gold.

In this case, that’s Erling Håland. The boy wonder is not an unknown talent anymore and he is finding the back of the net in both the Bundesliga as well as the Champions League like it’s nothing. He has scored six goals this year in the tournament and has a scoring frequency of 58 minutes (!) proving himself to be one of the deadliest strikers in the game.

Do you want to know what the crazy part is? He only costs €5.642! If that’s not a risk worth taking, we don’t know what is, especially seeing his expected match rating of 6.2.

Enjoy the games and make sure your portfolios are up to date. You do not want to miss out on winning the battle and the in-game currency prize, so head to the exchange and make your mark!

Good luck and game on!
