Kickstox: Going small for big plans

Hey football fans!

For this weekend we have three very special top tips for you. Usually, we focus on the big teams and big players but this time we want to do something different.

We want to shed some light on players of squads who are currently in the relegation zone. Just because their team is last, does not mean these players can’t have solid performances on the pitch and your portfolio.

So without further ado, here are the top tips from three teams that are currently dead last in their respective leagues.

The first player is from the team who is in the last place in the Premier League, Sheffield United; John Fleck.

The midfielder had a great season last year, where he scored five goals, and was a key player in respect to Sheffield’s solid 9th place.

This season his team is struggling a bit more and Fleck is still waiting to score his first goal. However with an average passing accuracy of 81% and two assists this season, he just might put in another good performance against Southampton this weekend. Maybe he will even get in a cheeky goal.

He costs €5.937 and has an expected match value of 5.8 to beat.

Our second tip comes from a team that currently holds last place in Spain’s LaLiga. He plays for Huesca and his name is Sandro Ramírez.

The ex-Evertonian is seen as the biggest threat in the Huesca squad and even though his stats are not the greatest this season (three goals, one assist), we must not forget that this was in only 9 games (of which he started six, averaging 56 minutes per match).

Definitely, someone to keep an eye out for your portfolio when Huesca plays Celta de Vigo this weekend. He might seem expensive at €9.414 but if we take a gander at his expected match rating of 5.0, it would almost be foolish to not put him in your portfolio.

Lastly, we go to the bottom of the Italian League to find our final top pick.

Last in the Serie A are Crotone and they will be facing Torino this weekend. A player we think you should look out for is Junior Messias.

The name says it all, this guy is the star for a struggling Crotone side. Messias already has six goals and two assists this season and he will be aiming to increase those numbers this next match. His expected match rating is 6.0 but at €3.796, who wouldn’t take a chance on Messias?

There you go folks, let’s see if these warriors can do something for their teams in their battle against relegation. Speaking of battles, don’t forget to join the “The Vibes”  battle on Kickstox!

Good luck and game on!
