KUALA LUMPUR – Badminton fans can look forward to securing their seats at the Malaysia Masters 2022 as tickets go on sale tomorrow from 2pm onwards.

The tournament will take place at the Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil from July 5 to 10.

“Considering the overwhelming ticket demand for the Malaysia Open, we expect another huge surge from fans to purchase tickets.

“I believe the momentum generated from the Malaysia Open will continue at the Masters,” said Badminton Association of Malaysia general-secretary Datuk Kenny Goh Chee Keong in a statement today.

In the last Malaysia Masters held in 2020, Japan’s Kento Momota was crowned the men’s singles champion while Chen Yufei of China won the women’s singles title.

This year, the total prize money on offer for the tournament is US$360,000 (RM1,591,020).
