KUALA LUMPUR – A former national footballer was arrested after he was suspected to be possessing syabu in Johor Bahru on Saturday, July 9. 

Berita Harian reported that the 36-year-old suspect played for several Super League teams, apart from wearing the Harimau Malaya and Harimau Muda jerseys. 

Based on the information, the former player is said to be detained at the North Johor Bahru District Police Headquarters (IPD). 

Meanwhile, several other news portals reported that the former Melaka-born player won six Super League cups with two different teams during 2009 to 2017. 

He also won The FA Cup, Malaysia Cup, and Sumbangsih Cup. – The Vibes, July 11, 2022.
