KUALA LUMPUR – Haier Malaysia has launched the Haier Cup badminton tournament and is calling for all Malaysians to participate.

The major appliances brand was inspired to create the tournament after appointing reigning men’s doubles world champions Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik as its brand ambassadors.

Yonex Sunrise Malaysia has been roped in as one of the sponsors for the tournament.

The tournament will take place from June 24 July 30, 2023, spanning three states – Johor, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur.

It is open to all Malaysians aged 18 and above and will feature four categories including men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles, and women’s doubles. 

The registration fees are RM30/pax for the singles category and RM50/pair for the doubles category.
