KUALA LUMPUR - A total of 11 men's teams and six women's teams will be taking part in the 63rd Maba/MJ Health Agong Cup National Basketball Championship 2023.

Malaysia Basketball Association (Maba) president Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock said the participation of these teams reflects the tremendous growth and passion for basketball within the nation.

"The matches will be held at the Maba Stadium and 11 men's teams will compete for the four semi-final slots, while the women will play in a single round-robin format," he said.

Apart from the title sponsor, MJ Health, the other sponsors include Molten, 988, Lining, Spritzer, Milo, Matrix, and Astro Arena.

"We can expect very strong competition and foresee that it will be tough for former national champion, Negri Sembilan to dominate once again," added Lee. - The Vibes, October 18, 2023
