THE boycott and attacks against KK Mart have taken a turn for the worse with certain individuals now recording themselves brazenly damaging products in such outlets.
In a disturbing video on social media, these individuals recorded themselves crushing bars of chocolate, bread and other items.
After damaging these products, they are put back on the shelves, and likely bought by some unsuspecting customer.
It is not known who are the individuals behind this but one wonders what is the motive for carrying out these irresponsible acts.
According to recent reports, Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh said investigations into the petrol bomb attack at a KK Super Mart outlet must be conducted before anyone is faulted.
"We strongly condemn the actions that have involved violence since day one and urge that investigations be conducted immediately and that those responsible are given the strongest punishment be sentenced to them, regardless of where they are from.
"And investigations must be conducted first before any parties are blamed on this incident," he said in a post on Facebook.
Following two recent petrol bomb attacks on KK Mart outlets, Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reminded all parties not to take matters into their own hands.
He said the public should respect and abide by the legal process if there is any misconduct.
Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah had also expressed sadness and disappointment over the attacks.
Comptroller Major General Datuk Mohamed Zahari Datuk Yahya said that Sultan Abdullah received the information from the Pahang police about the incident, and ordered the police to pay serious attention and take decisive and immediate action regarding the matter. - The Vibes, March 31, 2024
