The national vaccination programme, launched on February 24, will be carried out in three phases, and aims to get 80% of Malaysian adults inoculated against Covid-19 by next February.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah and several frontliners were among the first to receive the Covid-19 vaccine on the day of the launch.
