Perlis has highest Covid-19 infectivity rate

KUALA LUMPUR – The national Covid-19 infectivity rate stands at 0.85, with Perlis recording the highest by state at 1.71.

Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, in an infographic shared on Twitter yesterday, said Penang is second at 1.03.

This is followed by Sarawak (0.97); Selangor, Putrajaya and Terengganu (0.95); Melaka (0.89); Sabah (0.88); Johor (0.86); Labuan (0.85); Kelantan (0.81); Kuala Lumpur and Pahang (0.79); Kedah (0.76); Perak (0.64); and, Negri Sembilan (0.61).

There were 1,575 coronavirus infections reported yesterday, and three deaths. – Bernama, March 13, 2021
