KUALA LUMPUR – Pakatan Harapan (PH) parliamentarians and opposition members will hold a meeting with opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Parliament next Monday (March 22, 2021).
In a statement today, the PH presidential council said the meeting will touch on several issues affecting the country.
“The meeting will see several issues being put forward and discussed, including those regarding Covid-19 vaccination, the economy, and current issues.
They will also emphasise that Parliament can and needs to be convened while the emergency is still in force.
The council, which consists of PKR president Anwar, Amanah president Mohamad Sabu, and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, said it will also hold a closed-door meeting with foreign countries’ mission heads in Malaysia on March 24.
PH MPs will also attend a briefing on the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme held by Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on March 22.
It added that the council has recently appointed DAP women’s wing chairperson Chong Eng as PH women’s chief. – The Vibes, March 18, 2021
