IPOH – Police detained six men, including a political party division leader, who were engrossed in playing poker at a house in Taman Tapah Indah, near Tapah, last night.

Tapah police chief Wan Azharuddin Wan Ismail in a statement today said the men, aged between 38 and 56, were detained at 10pm, following a public tip-off.

“A deck of cards and RM1,774 in cash were seized in the raid,” he said, adding that the men have been released on police bail.
