KUALA LUMPUR – The 258th Conference of Rulers meeting scheduled for tomorrow and Thursday has been postponed until October.
The Office of the Keepers of the Rulers’ Seal indicated that the meeting would be pushed back to October, reported Utusan Malaysia.
The Conference of Rulers was earlier scheduled to have meetings with menteris besar and chief ministers on June 28, along with pre-council meetings on June 29.
The Malay rulers last convened during a special meeting with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at Istana Negara on June 16.
The special meeting was held after the Agong met with the leaders of political parties to discuss the emergency, Covid-19 pandemic, and the social-economic situation in the country. – The Vibes, June 29, 2021
