BUKIT MERTAJAM – The Seberang Prai City Council (MBSP) has denied sending a WhatsApp message about a collaboration with a Seberang Jaya mall to provide two doses of the Covi-19 vaccine for RM50.

Mayor Datuk Rozali Mohamud said the city council has collaborated with no one because vaccinations are under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

“Members of the public are advised not to believe false information and to register for vaccination via the MySejahtera app,” he said in a statement today.

The viral message prompted people to provide personal details such as their identity card and phone numbers. – Bernama, July 6, 2021
